Terms of Service

1Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using ShipBill Desk you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use the platform on behalf of a firm, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that firm. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2What ShipBill Desk provides

ShipBill Desk is software that helps you prepare, store and manage shipping bills, e-Sanchit documents, exporter masters, employee access and billing. It is a tool for your office. We are not a customs authority, we are not a licensed CHA, and we do not file anything on ICEGATE on your behalf unless a feature clearly says so.

3Accounts and employees

• You must give accurate registration details and keep them up to date.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by employees you add.
• Keep passwords private. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• Each plan has a limit on the number of employees and entries. Limits are shown on the Membership Plan page.

4Memberships, payments and renewals

• Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and may be exclusive of GST, as stated at checkout.
• Payments are processed by our payment gateway. We do not store your card or bank details.
• Memberships renew only when you choose to renew or upgrade. We will remind you before expiry.
• Fees already paid are non-refundable, except where required by law or where we state otherwise in writing.

5Your data and your responsibility

You own the data you enter. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service. You are responsible for checking every shipping bill, invoice and declaration before you file it with customs. Validation checks inside the platform are a help, not a guarantee that a filing will be accepted.

6Digital signatures

Signing uses your own Digital Signature Certificate and token. You are solely responsible for your token, its PIN, and every document signed with it. Never share your token or PIN with anyone, including our staff.

7Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Enter false or misleading information or use the platform for any unlawful trade.
• Try to break, probe or overload the service, or access another customer's data.
• Resell or share your account with another firm without our written consent.
• Upload malware or content you have no right to use.

8Availability and support

We work hard to keep the service available but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible. Support hours are shown on the Contact page.

9Intellectual property

The platform, its design, code and documentation belong to AdvertSneak Technology. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them while your membership is active.

10Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including penalties, demurrage, delays or lost business arising from a filing, a rejected document or downtime. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the plan in the 12 months before the claim.

11Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or is unpaid, after notice where reasonable. On termination you can request an export of your data for 90 days.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the location of our registered office have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change affects your rights materially we will give you notice. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
